Link:lore (Turn Around Design)

I love the new holiday cards from TurnAroundDesign, inspired by Shannon's childhood Danish Modern home.  I also think my kids would love to receive the penguin card in her shop; All of Shannon's designs are fun and bright and I'm happy to share them with you today.  Enjoy!

1.  Why did you decide to open an online shop?

I've been designing cards and stationery for myself for many years and have always wanted to turn that passion into more than just a hobby. About a year ago, I finally opened my online shop, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

2.  Who/what inspires you?

I'm inspired by my childhood, first and foremost, and I must credit my artistic parents. That was the most creative time of my life until now. I love to take a retro 70's memory and spin it into a modern design.

I'm also inspired by nature. To me, nothing matches the brilliant colors of the leaves in fall, a pink winter sunset, or the peacefulness of floating on a lake in the summer. It's no surprise I guess that animals and flowers are some of my favorite design subjects!

Thanks Shannon!
