Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg the partnership that merged Technology with Fashion

Adam Jack Goldenberg and Don Ressler are the founders of TechStyle Fashion Group formerly known as JustFab Inc. The membership based clothing company was founded in March of 2010 and received $33 million in funding from Matrix Partners. During Goldenberg’s teenage years he owned his first company called Gamers Alliance and in 1999 he sold it to Intermix Media.

Goldenberg was offered the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning for Intermix and dropped out of High School to pursue his career goals. His success in the company led him to become the Chief Operating Officer of Intermix which made him the youngest COO of a publicly traded company since he was 20 years of age at the time. Don Ressler also had success in the beginning of his career with owning FitnessHeaven.com which was voted Best of the Web winner in Forbes Magazine later he sold the company and joined Intermix.

While Adam Goldenberg and Ressler were working at Intermix they crossed paths and formed a friendship that began Alena Media. After News Corp had acquired Intermix in 2005 the partners held a meeting with former Alena Media team members and Intelligent Beauty was created in 2006 with the intent of having an autonomous business model. Under Intelligent Beauty new brands were created. DERMSTORE which catered to customers looking for online skincare and cosmetics while SENSA provided a weight-loss system. JustFab was launched in 2010 and in 2011 Kimorra Lee Simmons became President and Creative Director in the company.

The JustFab brand expanded its market in 2013 by creating Fabletics with new founder Kate Hudson. They also purchased FabKids which specialized in children’s fashion as well as bought fashion rival ShoeDazzle and acquiring a European site called The Fab Shoes. In 2015 FL2 was created and these ventures changed TechStyle’s market from just catering to women’s clothes to now having a children’s clothing line, men’s and women’s athletic clothing, and having customers in the European region. In 2016 JustFab is rebranded as Techstyle due to Ressler and Goldenberg having a history in digital commerce and how the companies blended fashion with technology.

Their company allows customers a platform to purchase clothing that is tailored to their own personal tastes by mixing and matching styles. Techstyle also assists students with low income for prom by donating clothes. Ressler and Goldenberg continue their business venture to make Techstyle a top brand worldwide.
